This year  IPL was being conducted on UAE.
Due to the pandemic situation the scheduled IPL was being conducted in UAE and not in India.

There are 8 teams competing each other to grab the 2020 IPL Cup.

CSK , MI , RR , DC , Kx1P , RCB , KKR , SRH are the 8 teams.
HOW DO THEY EARN?
After match we can see that some players are getting prices like man of the match etc..
But that's not their actual income.
They will be signing a contract with the owner of IPL with a sum for signing the contract and they will also receive money per match. If they are available for the whole season they will be paid even they play or not . Likewise if a player got injured his salary will be reduced to 50% in his match fees.


If a player got injured before the tournament starts, he will be paid at least 50%.
Players can be paid more based on the ratings and their performance.
If some players are selected at the auction , and there will be paid according to the auction.
In this way IPL players are paid.
